Possible Cleansing Reactions to Vega

Some sensitive people may experience some unpleasant cleansing reactions to a whole food diet rich in phytonutrients such as Vega. Note, these are desirable reactions that indicate your health conditions are improving. Not everyone shows these reactions; symptoms depend on your body system.

Duration of cleansing reactions vary, usually lasting less than a week, but sometimes spanning several weeks, and in extreme cases, even up to a few months. Do not worry about these temporary discomforts – they are a good sign that Vega is working in your body. Symptoms and duration vary from individual to individual depending on current state of health and other factors. The following are some of the more common ones:

• Bloated stomach and gas: During digestion, food undergoes decomposition, and the body quickly discharges the potentially harmful gas. This happens most frequently when your digestive system is very weak.

• Diarrhea: Your body tries to quickly excrete undesirable substances. People with weak or extra-sensitive digestive systems, or those who eat few fruits and vegetables, suffer more diarrhea.
